State Government Online Health Library

The State Government’s Online Health Library is available for any Health Care Provider who is working outside the Adelaide Metropolitan area.

It is also available for Doctors working directly for the SA Dept of Health.

The library service is not funded for all GPs in SA but is offered to all Country GPs.

This site is available to any GP based outside Adelaide regardless of whether they provide services to a country hospital or health services.

Any GP wanting to access the State Online Health library would simply need to email health.library@health.sa.gov.au and provide the following information:

  • State they wish to access the State Health Online Library Service.
  • Provide their name, location, telephone number and email address.
  • If they also advise what Health Facility they provide a service for or the location of their practice if no actual Public Health service provided it will help the staff at the Health Library confirm their identity.

Once the email is received they will be sent back a log in and password for their use.
