The Adelaide Hills Division of General Practice provides practice & service support to Doctors in the Adelaide Hills, to improve health outcomes in the region. Working closely with the hospitals & community health centres, the Adelaide Hills Division of General Practice focuses on providing a way forward to benefit the community at large.
Our vision is to be the leader in primary health solutions.
Our mission is to support general practice to enhance the health of the Community.
The Division is located near Mt. Barker, which has been identified as one of the three fastest growing regions in South Australia. The western part of the Division (Stirling, Aldgate, Crafers, Uraidla, Norton Summit) is mainly "dormitory suburbs" for Adelaide, with residents commuting to Adelaide on a daily basis. The central parts (Balhannah, Hahndorf, Woodside) are almost entirely rural, with a mixture of both in the eastern areas (Mt Barker, Littlehampton, Nairne).
